Designed to Improve Outcomes with Real-time Intelligence
This next generation heart pump is designed to improve patient outcomes by using
real-time intelligence to optimize positioning, managing and weaning of the Impella
device for better patient care.
Impella CP® with SmartAssist®
Improves Pump Positioning, Management, & Ease of Use
SmartAssist Advanced Metrics
Intelligent metrics assist weaning and optimize pump management
Metrics in Protected PCI
At the initiation of the balloon inflation, the aortic placement signal begins to dampen and eventually diminishes, demonstrating unloading with Impella support.
The longer the balloon is inflated,
notice the uncoupling of AO and LV waveforms due to the decreased contractility of the heart.
When balloon is deflated, the return
of pulsatility is demonstrated.
Post-intervention, trend screen
may be used to assess weaning.
Standard screen prior to inflations
Weaning Interface for Native Heart Assessment
Observing trends in pump metrics during weaning
Improved Troubleshooting for Suction Management
The LV placement signal can provide additional information to assist in troubleshooting.
